The beautifully restored first floor restaurant with its wrap around veranda is a great area to hold a function to celebrate any occasion, from small parties of 10 up to functions for 260 people. Whether it’s a birthday party, engagement celebration, wedding reception, sundowner, corporate function, breakfast meeting or anything you can think of, The National Hotel can find the perfect place for you.
High Street Veranda & Inside Area
A fantastic area for a cocktail style function for a maximum of 80 people or a seated function of up to 40. It overlooks the stunning heritage architecture of High Street and it features café style blinds and heaters for the chilly weather. Minimum spend for this area is $3500 on a Friday & Saturday.
This area is directly in front of a spectacular feature fireplace and will comfortably hold 50 – 60 people. Its corner sofa can be combined with tables and chairs, high tables and stools or a combination of both.
On the corner of High and Market Street. This area will hold up to 50 people for an informal cocktail style event.
The Entire Floor
The entire area, including the verandas, can be reserved for your function and will hold up to 260 people for a cocktail style event or 100 people for a sit down meal. This requires a minimum spend of $9000.
*There's no room hire but there is a minimum spend in some areas on a Friday and Saturday. Other areas don’t have a minimum spend but do require a deposit of $10 per head in order to secure the booking. This deposit can then be used towards food and drink at your function.
