The Left Bank can cater for any kind of special occasion, whether it be for a private or corporate event and offers five different spaces for all styles of functions – from small groups of 20 people to Cocktail Parties for up to 250 guests. The selection of different menus and beverage options give you the freedom to create your unique package. With a focus on cocktail style functions, the functions team at The Left Bank prides itself on customizing functions that suit every style and budget.

The Left Bank offers four different function spaces to hire – each of these have their own unique characteristics, but they all offer great views over the Swan River.

 

Catering Options


The Cocktail Platter menus offer a range of options that can be customised to suit the size, budget and taste of your function. All bars are stocked with a great range of local and international drinks and cover all bases with great Tap Beer, Cider, Wine and Cocktail selections. Functions can choose between purchasing Beverage Packages, setting up a Bar Tab for the duration of the event, or simply operating a Cash Bar. You’ll always be informed and in control of how much you want to spend on food and drinks.

The River Bar

The River Bar is the largest and most popular of The Left Bank function spaces.

The room is a popular choice for weddings, engagement parties and large birthday celebrations, located on the upper level of the venue and accompanied by a surrounding balcony that’ll take your breath away.

The River Bar comes complete with its own bar, your personal wait staff, audiovisual system, private bathroom facilities and a beautiful balcony overlooking the Swan River.

Mezzanine

With views from the upper level of The Left Bank overlooking the Beer Garden and the beautiful Swan River, this area is perfect for any summer party.

The Mezzanine comfortably caters for groups of 40 to 80 guests for the ever-popular cocktail party.

With your own staircase to the area and your own bar, you are all set for a great night at The Left Bank.

In Winter, our beautiful Marquee will keep you and your guests warm and dry. In Summer, our shade sails will keep you covered from the direct sun, while you can enjoy a nice breeze and amazing river views.

Billy's Lounge and Verandah

Situated in the main section of the downstairs Sports Bar, Billy’s Lounge and Verandah takes full advantage of the fun and friendly atmosphere at The Left Bank.

This semi-private area is ideal for a casual sundowner or birthday, and boasts a comfy indoor room complete with comfortable couches, opening onto the front verandah.

With the ease of access to this area, it also makes it a very suitable area for wakes on weekdays.

Conservatory Deck

The Conservatory Deck is a semi private atrium space in close proximity to the main bar of The Left Bank. Enjoy the luxury of having your own area, while you’re still able to take in the atmosphere of the surrounding Beer Garden and enjoy live entertainment on the weekend.

The glass doors of the Conservatory Deck can be partly opened or closed based on your preference and depending on the weather.

Upper Level

It is possible to hire the entire Upper Level of The Left Bank - which entails both of their largest function areas being combined together.

With The River Bar and The Mezzanine combined, the Upper Level can cater for groups of 250 people for a cocktail style function.

Enjoy two separate bars and simply the best view over the Swan River from the balcony.
