The Left Bank can cater for any kind of special occasion, whether it be for a private or corporate event and offers five different spaces for all styles of functions – from small groups of 20 people to Cocktail Parties for up to 250 guests. The selection of different menus and beverage options give you the freedom to create your unique package. With a focus on cocktail style functions, the functions team at The Left Bank prides itself on customizing functions that suit every style and budget.

Whether you are planning a birthday, engagement party, wedding, corporate function or simply want to throw a party just because, the team will ensure no detail is spared when creating an event that is truly memorable.

The Left Bank offers four different function spaces to hire – each of these have their own unique characteristics, but they all offer great views over the Swan River.

 

The River Bar

The River Bar is the largest and most popular function space at The Left Bank. The area is located on the upper level of the venue where guests can enjoy their own private bar, relax on couches or mingle with guests and enjoy stunning views from the surrounding balcony. This space is suitable for up to 150 guests cocktail style.
The River Bar has also become a popular area for casual, yet romantic Cocktail Style Wedding Receptions (that won’t break the budget).

 

The Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is the perfect outdoor area for any summer party. Enjoy your own private bar and soak up the atmosphere and views whilst overlooking the Beer Garden and Swan River. The marquee is set up in the cooler months ensuring you and your guests are warm and dry.

 

Billy’s Lounge and Verandah

Situated downstairs within the Sports Bar, Billy’s is a semi-private area that can be hired for groups of up to 65 guests. Including a section of the front verandah and a cosy inside space with couches, this area is suitable for more casual gatherings or weekday functions.

 

The Conservatory Deck

The Conservatory Deck is a small raised area, next to the main bar and the Beer Garden downstairs which can be hired for semi-private functions. The glass walls allow you to enjoy the lovely river view even on cold and rainy days – or, they can be opened to enjoy the summer breeze. This area is suitable for cocktail style parties of up to 30 guests.

 

Catering Options

The Cocktail Platter menus offer a range of options that can be customised to suit the size, budget and taste of your function. All bars are stocked with a great range of local and international drinks and cover all bases with great Tap Beer, Cider, Wine and Cocktail selections. Functions can choose between purchasing Beverage Packages, setting up a Bar Tab for the duration of the event, or simply operating a Cash Bar. You’ll always be informed and in control of how much you want to spend on food and drinks.

 

Upper Level

For the larger parties, you can also hire the entire upper level of The Left Bank – which combines our River Bar and Mezzanine areas and can cater for up to 250 guests. Enjoy two private bars and the best view from your private balcony.
