Lalla Rookh is the much loved inner city local by both locals and visitors alike. They offer stools for one, intimate tables for a few and open spaces to gather many. Grab a drink and a bite to eat in the either the courtyard, bar, lounge or dining room, or, if you're after a special drop to drink in or take home, head to the Wine Store, which doubles as a very cosy wine bar.

There is an Italian and Australian focus in the Bar and Eating House; yet a global outlook in the Wine Store.

Head Chef, Alexandra Haynes draws upon her love and personal experience of Italian food to create a menu that reveres produce, tradition and creativity in equal measure whilst on the drinks front, in-house Sommelier Jeremy Prus drives their award winning wine offering.

This intimate, 27 seat enoteca style bar is a rarity in Perth and is where Sommelier, Jeremy Prus’s extensive knowledge comes into play with a wine list sold at retail prices to take away or enjoy in the Wine Store (with a corkage charge of $10).

Whilst the list runs to over 300 labels, Jeremy can also source specific wines for those building home collections. In line with Jeremy's own wine ethos, you’ll discover great regional diversity and a strong showing from low intervention winemakers.

Accessed discreetly from the Dining Room, or its own entrance off Sherwood Court, the Wine Store also serves the full restaurant menu, making it a prized spot for an informal lunch or dinner to accompany one of the city’s best wine lists.
