Weekly What’s On Guide: Good Beer Week & World Whisky DayMay 14, 2018

How do you keep the winter blues at bay? Alcohol (Please consult a medical or legal practitioner before taking any advice from us). May is bringing doom, gloom, and lethargy, but Melbourne is fighting to keep the (literal) spirits up – or rather, downed. Arm yourself from the choices below.

Brooklyn Block Party at Ferdydurke & Section 8
239 Lonsdale Street & 27-29 Tattersalls Lane, CBD

Good Beer Week is back for its eighth annual installment. The folks on Tattersalls Lane are getting in on the action, with Ferdydurke and Section 8 throwing a Brooklyn Block Party on Saturday the 19th from 2pm. On the agenda: a hotdog eating competition, pop-up hairdressing by Beef Barber’s, and a range of Brooklyn Brewery beers, usually unavailable outside the U.S.

Let’s be honest, though, you didn’t need another reason to love beer.
