Everyone’s favourite Italian haven is promising to make all mums the centre of attention this Mother’s Day by doing what they do best – spoiling them with delicious and wholesome Neapolitan goodness.

All mums will receive complimentary Bellini cocktails upon arrival before tucking in to a stunning a la carte menu. While Gradi are renowned for their pizza and pasta, the highlight of this menu is sure to be the ‘Giardino della Mamma’ – a delicate and decadent dessert comprising of dark chocolate soil, honeycomb parfait, sour cherry, a hint of micro basil and a beautiful dark chocolate tree topped with fairy floss at the heart of it all.

All Gradi locations will be offering this one-day-only menu. Bookings are essential.

Plus they’ll be open on Sunday if you want to treat mum with a memorable cake or dessert. The team have planned a very special ‘Deluxe’ addition to all cakes that will be for a limited time only, keep your eyes peeled on their Instagram where they’ll reveal what it is and prices.

If your mum is a Darren Purchese fan, make her day extra special and bring her down to the shop where the man himself will be in store signing copies of his cookbooks.

Featuring nine hand-painted, chocolate covered gelato bon bons, each is a nostalgic burst of decadent flavours designed to replicate classic mum favourites. The ‘Tea & Bikkies’ features an earl grey tea gelato, shortbread base and gooey chocolate caramel ganache while the ‘Lamington’ is a divine combination of bounty gelato, raspberry gel and chocolate sponge. For the mums who like a boozy dessert, Messina have made room for a delicious ‘Tequila Sunrise’ bon bon too.

If your mum’s a sucker for wine country (and let’s be honest who isn’t), then let the beautiful surrounds of the newly renovated Little Vineyard be your gift this Mother’s Day. Located on the doorstep of the Yarra Valley, the rolling hills and open landscapes will act as the perfect backdrop while you get stuck in to a generous share style menu served directly to your table. Of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without a sweet finish, and these guys have planned an entire dessert buffet including a variety of playful yet elegant creations. Think, Belgian chocolate mousse with popping candy, petit fours and Eton Mess with poached quince and meringue. Yum.
