PJ O’Briens

P.J O’Brien’s has some good advice, “take the day off and make it a long weekend”, which sounds pretty bloody good to me.

If you can’t take the Friday off work, don’t worry, there will be celebrations held all weekend for you to check out!

The famous P.J O’Brien’s in Southbank will kick off its annual St Patrick’s Day festivities with a full Irish breakfast for $25, which also includes a pint of Guinness (maybe both at once).

Head down nice and early and have a hearty breakfast to line the stomach for a full day of drinking ahead. Bookings are essential so make sure you don’t miss out, click the link below to secure your spot.

There is also a lunch menu available if you miss out on breakfast.

On Saturday 18th, England takes on Ireland in the Six Nations, so the celebrations must continue! Breakfast will be available again and live music will continue from 4pm onwards.  There’ll also be drink specials throughout the day!

If you haven’t had enough, head down again on Sunday 19th for the last day of the festivities. There will be a traditional Sunday roast served all day, get that and a pint of Bulmer’s for $20. Live music will entertain all day from 2pm onwards.

Did somebody say free whiskey!? Hyde Irish Whiskey will be holding free tasting from 2-3pm on Friday. Yes please!

It’s their last St Paddy’s Day party in their iconic venue before its redeveloped, so make sure you come along and help them send off in style! There will be prizes handed out throughout the day and a bottle of Bailey’s for the best dressed!

There will be live entertainment and delicious Irish food being served all day so come down and celebrate with the best Irish bar in the city.
