Set against the backdrop of Federation Square’s Skyline Terrace, Summertime Social is an outdoor pop-up event for all ages!
From the 2nd of January right through to the 5th of April you can check out this colourful and endlessly fun seasonal event.
Whether you take the kids along for a day of school holiday bliss or gather your pals for a boozy weekend outing, its time to let loose and savour the sunshine. With a large communal lawn, giant games (including everyone’s favourite, Jenga!) and a plethora of warm weather inspired food and drink, this buzzy haven of laughter and entertainment is totally free to enter!
Relax in the airy dining precinct and indulge on mouthwatering fried chicken, wood-fired pizzas and frozen treats, followed by a healthy dose of competition in one of the epic games lanes. Think supersized booce, shuffleboard and skittles with classic tunes spinning late into those sticky summer evenings.
For an effortlessly chilled weekend outing kick it back in one of the retro converted caravans or fully decked out huts available for hire in advance. With delish food and beverage packages included, sample a very Aussie arrangement of ploughman’s platters, pies and potato salad while you check out the elevated views of the Melbourne cityscape.
Festive pop-up bars with daily specials and summer-themed concoctions await, so be sure to snatch a quick reprieve from the heat and grab any cocktail for only $6 between 4-6pm weekdays!
Bask in the sunshine on the lawn with an Aperol Spritz, Passionfruit Caprioska or Miami Iced Tea, or even savour a frozen Margarita or Mango Daiquiri on those real Aussie scorchers. For those truly chasing a lazy Sunday in the city then an oldfashioned Esky laden with your choice of four cans of beer or wine is too good to pass up!
With special Bottomless Brunch packages available for $49 on Saturdays, get your fill of free-flowing tap cocktails, prosecco and beer for 90 minutes, not to mention your choice of a BLT burger or calzone.
What better way to celebrate the season of sunburn, sandals and seaside shenanigans than by letting loose and embracing those summer vibes in the heart of Melbourne?
