Twist It At The LuWOW

There isn’t a venue more appropriately named then the LuWOW in Fitzroy. With special events happening month after month, it’s no wonder why it has become one of the most thriving hot-spots in Melbourne’s bar scene, and they’re at it again.

The famous Tiki cocktail bar is proud to present a Twist Party every Friday night for the month of September, inviting us all to shake it, shake, shake it, shake it baby.

The members of Jukebox Racket have somehow channelled the legends like Chuck Berry and Little Richard, delivering the same amount of energy and enthusiasm that was found in the music and nightlife of the 50’s & 60’s. The boys win over every crowd and have the entire audience on their feet dancing, no matter what their age or moving ability. Whether you think the Beatles are musicians or insects, Jukebox Racket will ensure your weekend starts off with a bang -and maybe even a boogy. Entry is free and doors open at 5pm for delicious food and fantastic cocktails in the tropical oasis we all know and love, with the Danceroom opening at 8pm for music and dancing till the early hours of the morning.
