A Little Piece of Paris on Chapel StOct 12, 2017

Walking distance from Windsor Station on bustling Chapel St, Belle Vie is the newest tapas bar on the block and may just be the fanciest on the street.

Newly renovated, Belle Vie ticks all the right boxes if you’re after the ultimate, intimate bar experience. It’s the perfect place to unwind after work over a glass of wine, or for an unspoiled, romantic dinner.

The warm ambiance of Belle Vie is highlighted with dark décor and oozes French sophistication. You could be mistaken for thinking you have been transported to the heart of Montemarte.

The intimate space is also perfect for private dining, group dining or smaller stand-up cocktails events. Whatever you desire, you can be assured the team at Belle Vie will find the perfect space to host your event, just like they’ll find the perfect wine to pair with your food.

Belle Vie lives by French saying, “La vie est trop courte pour boire du mauvais vin’ meaning life is too short to drink bad wine – and they take this mantra very seriouslu. Their exceptional collection of international wines work in perfect harmony with their European-inspired menu; excellent if you want to impress on a first date.

The owners bring international Sommelier experience from France and South Africa to an unassuming corner of Chapel Street and are experts in their field. You haven’t really lived unless you’ve tried the Thelma Chardonnay all the way from Stellenbosch, South Africa (we’re told it’s the creme de la creme). Paired with some freshly shucked oysters from St Helens, Tasmania and you’re in for an experience like no other.

The Head Chef takes pride in following traditional French methods in his cooking and adds a European twist on each dish. The result? A tapas menu offering a beautiful union of flavours with a variety of meat, vegetarian and seafood tapas on offer. Safe to say, you definitely won’t leave hungry from Belle Vie .

Their Le Burger has also been given reviewed as being as good as Neil Perry’s from The Waiting Room at Crown. Thank us later.

Good things do come in small packages, and Belle Vie is no exception. Their newly refurbished ground-floor dining room is perfect for to hosting a group dining event.

The front dining room can host up to 25 people and the back dining room can host up to 30 people for dinner – perfect for a birthday celebration or corporate gathering.

Going all out? The venue has a total capacity of 45 people and promises to accommodate a range of function styles and French & European tapas options to impress your guests.

The real hidden gem at Belle Vie is the hidden private dining space upstairs.

The Private Dining Room can accommodate small group events of up to 35 in true Parisian luxury. There is nothing more special than an open fire to make your event truly one of a kind.

Make sure you get in contact with Belle Vie for your summer events as the weather warms up, this slice of Paris in Windsor won’t stay hidden for long.
