Albert Park Welcomes Greener PasturesFeb 24, 2017

“I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.”

…Louis Armstrong most definitely anticipated the opening of Greenfields when writing his most famous song, and we agree, oh, what a wonderful world it is with Greenfields in the world.

Located off Lakeside Drive and offering one of the most spectacular views Melbourne has up its sleeves, Greenfields is nestled between Albert Park Lake and the golf course. Doubling as both a café and function and venue, we know that Greenfields will fast become one of the city’s most sought after event and go-to culinary destinations.

Its open plan and minimalistic design and décor lends to its holistic approach to both aspects of this dream venue. The open plan design boasts panoramic views of the stunning greenery and surrounds, bringing the outdoors in with its sprawling windows. The venue offers bars, its own lawns, a large terrace patio (that comes complete with a giant chess board), BBQ area and dual purpose bridal suite.

The Greenfields café is open Wednesday to Sunday from 7am and is all about encouraging a healthy body and mind, offering dishes that are nourishing, honest and heavily influenced by local, raw, organic, fermented and biodynamic products. From super cereals to super bowls and everything in between, Greenfields will have you starting any day the right way, starting of course with Sensory Lab coffee

Check out their seasonal menu here

Oh, it’s also dog friendly, so after you’ve done a lap of the lake, ask your four legged friends to join you for brunch where they’ll get to choose from their very own DOG-MENU….yep, Greenfields are letting the dogs out – hoo hoo hoo!

Green means go, and go to Greenfields you must!
