The Birmingham hotel has stood on the corner of Brunswick Street and Smith Street since 1853. Today, you'll find a warm local with friendly staff, great food, 16 taps with rotating drink specials as well as their award winning Parmas.

The Front Bar

Sitting right on the corner of the well-known Johnston Street and Smith Street, the front bar has old pub charm with warm hospitality and atmosphere. There are a few tables that bring you close to the action of the bar and the four TVs so you won’t miss a thing. A cozy entrance to the space, people never expect the true size of the venue!

The Side Bar

Wander into The Side Bar, a split-level room that sits separate from the rest of The Birmingham and carries a timeless rustic charm. Take in the exposed brick walls, enormous mirror and all of the old pictures and documents that adorn the space. Make use of a private entrance and make your night out one of luxury!

The Workshop

A versatile space ready to entertain, The Workshop is packed with a private bar, high barn style ceilings, direct access to the beer garden and shelves adorned with books. Look up to the corner of the roof and find an old BSA Bantam! With lots of space and industrial charm, there’s nowhere more unique.

The Alan 'Butch' Gale Room

This space is brand new and designed to impress. On the first floor of The Birmingham Hotel, find this space set away from the hustle and bustle and with a stunning view of the city skyline. Find six beer taps, curated cocktail lists and handpicked wines and whiskeys. Take in your favourite sports across their three large TVs and enjoy!
