Fortunately, we’ve finally got the means to decide, once and for all, who the real Burger King is. If you’re as intrigued (and hungry) as we are, get yourself down to St Kilda Burger Bar (STKBB) for the Reverse Review – an innovative burger competition judged by four of Melbourne’s premier chefs – to find out.
On Saturday October 22nd social media bloggers will have their skills put to the test by creating their personal ‘ultimate burger’ for your judgement. In an exciting script-flipping move, the entries will be critiqued by a panel of culinary heavy hitters – including Paul Tyas, Scott Pickett, Shane Delia and James Kummrow – on flavour, presentation and usage of ingredients.
The creator of the burger deemed number one will receive a right royal assortment of prizes, including having their burger featured on STKBB’s menu until New Year’s Day, a $150 voucher and 20 STKBB vouchers (to be used promotionally for their followers – that could be you).
Head to St Kilda this weekend to witness burger-based history being made, find out who will be crowned burger royalty, and meet the chefs from some of Melbourne’s best venues.
