The LuWOW Turns FiveJul 21, 2016

LuWow bar really do live up to their name, consistently WOW-ing Melburnians with an ever growing list of special events and offers that keep rolling out the door and have people rolling in… oh, did we mention entry is free?

Until recently, the pop up Caribbean Kitchen had people lickin’ devilishly good, sticky jerk chicken sauce of their mitts. Now, thanks to the help of their neighbours, Cafe 58, you and your friends can head down on Saturday nights to devour their Vietnamese inspired share platters, which go beautifully with a few of their special tiki cocktails.

To celebrate a fifth wedding anniversary, tradition suggest gifts revolving around silver, but the guys at LuWOW know that a birthday is way more important, so to celebrate their fifth birthday, they’re hosting a GOLD series of early evening Saturday night concerts. Starting at 8pm, some of Melbourne’s much loved talent will be gracing the Forbidden Temple room with three massive gigs marking this milestone, with DJ’s carrying the party on till the wee hours of the morning.

THE APE FEATURING TEX PERKINS – FRIDAY 13TH AUGUST

THE BOMBAY ROYALE – SATURDAY 20TH AUGUST
A finely orchestrated and funked up band who play a unique brand of crazy mondo Bollywood beats with a distinct retro soundtrack groove.

ELVIS: THE KNAVE & HIS BIG BAND TRIBUTE – SATURDAY 27 AUGUST
Celebrate three decades of the music, the man and the legend with a knock out spectacle of a show that promises the glitz, musicianship and respect for Elvis Presley – The King Of Rock N Roll.
