This New Year’s Eve, South Wharf will be transformed into a village full of sights, sounds, and tastes. Travel between the different zones with distinct themes and experience all that is on offer at World Carnivale!
Venice on the Yarra
Inspired by the traditional Carnival of Venice, this Italian inspired zone will feature traditional foods, Venetian decorations, and mysterious masked hosts and also offers an option to add spirits to the 5 hour beverage package. Guests will be entertained by a live cover band.
Rio Grade
The ‘river grill’ is a call out to the loud, colourful Carnivale in Rio de Janeiro. Food has more of a meat focus with Churrasco grills and other Brazilian inspired food, lively Brazilian music and feather bedecked showgirls!
Lights, Love and Lanterns
A club atmosphere with multiple DJ sets, inspired by the lantern festivals of South East Asia. The food will be Asian influenced and a 5-hour beer, sparkling, wine and soft drink package included will be supplemented by Asian inspired cocktails available for purchase.
The Melbourne Lawn
A relaxed party atmosphere on the banks of the Yarra out on the lawn. Think the classic Aussie barbeque scaled UP. The food combines Modern Australian fusion with some classic choices, accompanied by a 5 hour beverage package. Roaming entertainment brings the space to life!
VIP ONLY: Buena Vida
This means the good life in Argentinian. Here, a full 3 course banquet is served to the table, VIP Banquet guests have their seats reserved for the night. This 6 hour package includes sumptuous Spanish and Argentinian food and a premium wine offering, as well as live music.

Admission to World Carnivale: All you can eat roaming canapes and food stations, 5 hour Beer, Wine and soft drink package, free roaming between Lights and Lanterns, Melbourne Lawn, Venice on the Yarra and Rio Grade.

VIP Banquet Package – $225pp – SOLD OUT!
Admission to World Carnivale: 3 course, sit down dinner in Buena Vida with reserved table for the night, 6 hour beer, wine and soft drink package including premium wines, free roaming between Lights and Lanterns, Melbourne Lawn, Venice on the Yarra and Rio Grade, all you can eat roaming canapes and food stations.

VIP Champagne Terrace – $255pp
Exclusive access to the waterfront Champagne terrace within Rio Grade, with free flowing Piper-Heidsieck Champagne until 1am. Champagne Terrace guests also have access to Lights, Love and Lanterns, Venice on the Yarra, and the Melbourne Lawn. All you can eat included.

Spirits Package – $15pp
Access to spirits, for the duration of beverage package, for one person.
