ABOUT The Wilde – Fitzroy Function Rooms

The Wilde is now permanently closed.

The Wilde is a UK influenced Pub located on the corner of Gertrude and Napier St in Fitzroy, housed in a charming 1850s Victorian site that has been sensitively renovated and stripped back to reveal and retain as many original features as possible.

The Explorers Club

The Explorers Club is our dedicated function space located on the first floor of The Wilde.

Within the classic looking shell the lounge has been equipped with many modern multimedia capabilities, including a giant projector screen and impressive sound system allowing the space to be used for film screenings, gigs, art exhibitions. The lounge also contains an antique pool table and dart board.

The space is available for hire for functions/birthdays/launches etc. At other times the club is open for patronage and requires no membership! Come on down and check it out.
