Trainscendence spans 10-floors over 2 purpose built train themed buildings on Rolling Stock Lane, Collingwood, with two vintage train carriages parked on its roof. The carriages sit on an open-air deck with its own bar, so a rooftop hire gives a group of up to 130 a private bar, two trains to spread out through and a patio in between, all a few minutes from the city. Below them are seven themed private rooms, each a different world: a lounge with gold velvet overhead, an aviation lounge under a cloud ceiling, a room full of living plants, a ground-floor stage room with its own bar and karaoke, and more. There are five bars across the building and a lift to every level. Take one room for 20 people, the rooftop for 130, or the whole building for 400.

The deal is simple and there is no hire fee. Each space has a minimum spend that goes entirely on drinks for your guests, run as an open tab, a per-head drinks package, or guests buying their own. Food is your call: bring a caterer or use ours. An event host runs your night, front of house and bar staff are included, and DJs, live musicians, magicians, roving performers, improv workshops and photo booths can be added on.

Trainscendence hosts birthdays and milestone parties, work Christmas parties, product launches, wedding receptions, comedy festival seasons, private karaoke nights and photo shoots.
