Located in the heart of Brunswick, hidden on a small backstreet easily accessed from Sydney Rd you’ll find an architecturally converted warehouse space named Theodore’s. Timber lined booths, a covered courtyard and a generous bar are just some of the key features this plant filled space has to offer. Due to the various dining settings, almost any kind of function or event can be hosted from group sizes of 13 to a maximum of 87.

 

The Courtyard


Exposed brick, crawling plants and a wraparound timber banquette combined with free standing tables and chairs allow the space to play host to groups of up to 20 guests seated, 30 guests for a stand-up cocktail event.

 

The Semi-Private Dining Room


Pendant lighting, timber framework, subtle mesh screens and a variety of table configurations allow this area to be transformed into just about anything you like including a dance-floor, a formal long table or even a conference or showcase space. The capacity for this room is 22 seated, 30 standing.

 

The Bar & Booths


This is the heart of the venue, to book exclusive use of this space, full venue hire is required. The deep curved bar, large communal table and eight timber lined booths offer a variety of different configurations for all kinds of events. For formal sit down dining they can comfortably host the maximum capacity of 87. Should you wish to convert the dining room into a dance floor or only wish to dine indoors this will reduce that number.

 

The Kitchen


The well fitted, open kitchen can prepare menus to suit whatever catering needs your function requires. Canapes and grazing tables are popular for cocktail events and casual celebrations. Sit down banquet dining is best suited to more formal occasions. A combination of the two is desirable for long hires like weddings. Outside catering can be discussed, such as food trucks parked outside the entrance.

 

The Bar


Cocktails, beers, wines & spirits are all available as per their usual offering. They are more than happy to cater to any specific product requests as well as providing affordable customized cocktails on tap. The in-house sommelier can work with you to customize drinks packages, inclusive of after dinner drinks like digestives and tea/ coffee.

 

Availability


The venue is licensed to trade from 7am to 11pm except ANZAC Day. They will consider all requests for exclusive venue hire.
