Smith Street Trader is the newest cafe, bar and restaurant addition to the ever growing dining precinct that is Smith Street Collingwood/Fitzroy.

Boasting a stunning Scandinavian inspired fit out, a secluded covered courtyard, and for those that love to people watch, a heated outdoor footpath dining area, Smith Street Trader is perfect for your weekend breakfast, brunch, lunch or big night out with friends.

Smith Street Trader begins the day at breakfast serving “Humbler” coffee from local Collingwood roaster Proud Mary, as well as everything you would expect to enjoy from an inner city Melbourne café. The menu consists of all your traditional hot breakfast dishes like the “Big Trader Breakfast” & “Trader Hash” as well as contemporary options like the “Trader Super Bowl” & “Mango Chia Pudding”. The café serves breakfast until 3 pm.

The 'All Day Dining' menu kicks in from 11:30 am with fresh salads, daily baguettes, tasty tacos, burgers, pizza & a hearty steak sandwich. The spaces fill midweek with local business diners, with late rising locals enjoying a late brunch on weekends.

The Trader is fast becoming one of Melbourne’s most popular restaurants for dinner and now has some of Melbourne’s best food to go with it. The Trader has taken a huge step forward to satisfying the dining expectations of Fitzroy and Collingwood locals with rustic honest food.

Smith Street Trader's A-la-Carte menu is available for group bookings of up to 12 guests with larger functions having a variety of cocktail food packages to choose from too.
