The first certified gluten-free pizzeria in Australia, Shop 225 has gathered a cult following of Melbournians wanting to jump on board its homely Italian ethos and dietary-considerate menu.

They specialise in vegan and gluten-free pizza and pasta, offering a choice of caserecce, spaghetti or gnocchi, and gluten-free pizza bases that will set you back an extra $4. They are Coeliac Australia Accredited, with the best of the best processes in place to minimise any potential risk of cross contamination.

Almost all the pizza are available vegetarian or vegan upon request, using Localcraft lactose free cheese and plant-based meat alternatives.

Leave some space for your tum to engage in some serious Dolci, as you’ll definitely want to peruse their generous dessert menu, with traditional Italian favourites such as Cannoli Siciliani and Cassata along with a more radical Nutella pizza, all available gluten free.
