ABOUT Radio Mexico
Mexican Restaurants

Tucked around the corner from the bustle of Acland Street is Radio Mexico, a bright and warm taqueria that makes you feel right at home.

What was once an old bicycle warehouse has been converted into an intimate courtyard with a fireplace on one side (perfect for dates or small groups), as well as an open dining space lined with window benches on the other (ideal for big groups and families).

Before you get to either of these spaces, the first thing you’ll see from the entrance is their iconic carros de tacos – their taco cart. Pick the right seat in the courtyard and you can watch your food being scorched and seared to perfection.

Their menu is full of authentic Mexican street eats – think Mezcal marinated beef, goat’s milk caramel milkshakes, and sesame ancho lamb cutlets. Pair it with one of their perfectly balanced and shaken margaritas; they’re the hook that keeps their fans coming back. Radio Mexico made it onto our list of the most authentic Mexican eateries in Melbourne - read it here!
