ABOUT Mt. View Hotel
‘A Bar Above’ Rooftop Bar

A Bar Above is one of Melbourne’s premier rooftop bars. With amazing views, their signature cocktail menu, and an impressive list of craft beer and cider, your guests are in for an unforgettable experience. The rooftop function areas are open all year round and have been designed with both private events and casual drinks in mind.

We have two sections of the rooftop available to book:

The Pelaco End can accommodate up to 70 people. Its market umbrellas, heating facilities and AUX capabilities are sure to set the scene for any event.

The Bridge Rd End is our more intimate area, accommodating up to 40 people. Heating facilities and a retractable roof make this a warm and inviting space year-round.

Both areas have access to our shared rooftop cocktail bar, and both feature fantastic views of the city skyline, downtown Richmond, and Melbourne’s famed sporting precinct.
