ABOUT Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre

Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is one of Australia's largest multi-sport and event facilities. The venue has hosted world class events and has a rich history that includes many events including the 2006 Commonwealth Games. These variety of events can be accommodated in many flexible function rooms throughout the complex, with the capacity to host small events, meetings, seminars and even large scale dinners and corporate events.

Spaces available to hire include:


  • The Champions Room is a versatile function room that overlooks Albert Park, and notes views of Melbourne’s city skyline. It can accommodate up to 200 guests

  • An outdoor covered pool deck, featuring the world’s first 50m pool with an elevated floor. One of Melbourne’s best kept secrets and a truly unique function space

  • Over 12,000 m2 of dedicated function space including a range of halls, show courts, stadiums and outdoor spaces
