ABOUT Mary Fortune – CBD Laneway Bars

VENUE IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Much mystery surrounds the life of Ms Fortune-one of the first women in the world to write detective fiction.

Papa Goose's first floor bar and function space is both mysterious and alluring in its appeal. A large long room with a beautiful white marble bar leads down to floor to ceiling windows overlooking the always buzzing Flinders Lane.

The food at Mary Fortune is a range of offerings from individual bite sized pieces, sharing plates, hearty meals and a delicious range of cheeses and charcuterie. The ever-evolving wine list of quirky nature features many interesting varietals and styles.

A classically designed space with marble and chandeliers allows our guests the comfort and warmth of a writer's den in the heart of Melbourne's cobblestone laneways.
