Kelvin Club – CBD Function Venues

The Kelvin Club is a Melbourne institution, one steeped in a rich, rich history. Founded in 1865, The Kelvin Club has occupied its elegant and sumptuous Melbourne Place address since 1924. It's hardly as stuffy as it once was however, with more relaxed dress codes and guest lists, and even live music performances for non-members.

Inside, the Kelvin Club is part hunting lodge, part restaurant, and part luxurious bar. There's even a games room, and a renowned barber (this was a mens' club, after all). Rich carpets, dark wooden tones, paintings on the wall - it all harks back to a bygone era of sophistication, and an old-world elegance. Call the Kelvin Club a "personal oasis in the heart of the CBD".

It's still a members-only Club but keen to introduce guests who may seek to join. Guests of the Club can host events within the gorgeous surrounds of the Kelvin Club, as well as attend events and performances.

The legendary Kelvin Club is situated on Melbourne Place, just off Russell Street and in between Collins and Bourke Streets. The "Paris End" of the city, it's close to Parliament train station, the theatre precinct, and the rest of the city's best bits.
