ABOUT Hoi Polloi & The Hoity Toity
Blank Canvas Venues

The Hoi Polloi is for the common people. They are the ultimate creative hub housed in the iconic Younghusband Woolstore, just 4km from the Melbourne CBD.

They consider themselves 'Melbourne' in every sense of the word - think industrial warehouse vibes - exposed steel beams, graffiti walls, laneway access, indoor plant-haven and outdoor veggie garden. They have some seriously big spaces available, with a massive fully licensed beer garden and fully equipped kitchen. They have two great spaces available, The Hoi Polloi and the Hoity Toity.

The Hoity Toity is the beautiful light-filled gallery space perfect for any number of events, featuring an inbuilt bar/kitchen and high-speed wifi access. With 900sqm of space, the Hoity Toity can fit 250 seated and 400 cocktail. Imagine festoon lighting, timber floors, a brand new bar and access to the outside beer garden. Perfect for your corporate dinner, 40th/50th birthday party - or any other special event!

The Hoi Polloi is over 2000sqm, and with space for 1500 people it is perfect for your next exhibit, expo, wedding, or party. Think warehouse, blank canvas, private laneway, and beer garden. They have a massive space but can cater it to your needs, sizing and any other requirements.
