Big Huey’s Diner is available for private parties and events of all types for up to 65 people (sit down) or 100 (standing) and even has a private function room upstairs! Situated directly opposite the South Melbourne Market, our venue has plenty of parking available (except daytime at weekends) and we are situated next door to major public transport. Owned and operated by celebrity chef, Iain ‘Huey’ Hewitson, a number of very affordable set price menus are available to choose from. But Huey can also tailor a menu to suit your tastes. The food itself is an eclectic blend from the States, Asia, Australia and even NZ, and features everything from Wicked Burgers and Po’Boys to Roll Your Own Burritos, Sexy Salads, Diner Classics and much more. Drinks wise, our craft beer, spirit and wine list is unequalled in a casual venue (not forgetting our frozen Raspberry Margarita and Peach & Mango Bellini Slushies!). Add to this music from the 50’s and 60’s and a lighthearted feel, and this is the venue to hold any party, event, or function where the guests just want to have a bit of fun!
