Exclusive Function Rooms

Prohibition Liquor Co is one of the most unique venues in the Adelaide CBD. As Adelaide’s only craft spirits Distillery Door and Tasting Room, it is home to one of Australia’s most awarded gin producers.


This converted warehouse with glazed garage-style frontage and industrial chic aesthetic has plenty of character and sophistication, befitting the brand and the spirit created here. The bathtub which sits atop the bar is an immediate sign that you are in a distillery, with its sculptural copper “Still” which pipes into the back bar… this is not your average drinks venue!


The bar has a strong craft gin focus, with more than 60 craft gins and a wealth of information about everything we stock. South Australian craft beers and small batch wines are also featured, along with a food menu showcasing the best local produce in antipasto, cheese or dip platters and gourmet toasties. You can enjoy a gin flight with a full tasting experience, with an education in gin, or relax with a craft spirit cocktail to liven your tastebuds. Any visit to the PLC Tasting Room is not your average drink, it is always an experience!


Next Door - Best Cocktail Bars


Next door is Adelaide's best kept secrets and a unique, premium gin cocktail bar, boasting almost 200 international and local craft gins on the menu. Other choices of classic cocktails are included on the menu if gin isn't quite your scene.


Next Door is the sister venue for Prohibition Liquor Co and is literally open right next door, under the same roof.


The warehouse-chic aesthetic focuses on a warmer, and more comfortable vibe, which is perfect to relax and enjoy your cocktails with food and friends.


There is a selection of great tapas and gourmet platters to share as well, all prepared with exceptional service.

Distillery Space


A truly unique venue in Adelaide CBD, where you can drink a gin whilst watching the production of the next batch happen in front of your eyes. Pull up a seat in view of Mary, our beautiful 900 litre copper still, where the entire range of Prohibition gins are produced. The vibe of the space is definitely warehouse industrial, but with the warmth of over 50 oak barrels, ageing spirit of all kinds. Whether a stand-up cocktail or sit-down masterclass style event, with a vast array of food and drink options, including gin flights, cocktails, locally made beers and wines or non-alcoholic libations. A perfect space for private or corporate functions from 10-60 people, with a very distinctive difference.


 

Bootleg Café


What happens when a team of craft gin distillers create a specialty coffee shop… Bootleg Coffee! A perfect support offering to Prohibition Liquor Co’s Distillery Tasting Room and Next Door Cocktail bar is a small yet impressive coffee shop specializing in the best coffee, with some great local baked items and lunchtime favourites. The perfect accompaniment to any daytime function at Prohibition’s multiple venue spaces, match your afternoon gin tasting with a bang on morning coffee fix. Whether it be coffee and pastries for your corporate morning presentation in our unique venue spaces, or a lunchtime coffee mix with your G&Ts before the Espresso Martinis fire up. Bootleg Coffee is here for that time of the day when it’s just a little too early for your favourite Gin & Tonic.
