Kittyhawk is a high volume cocktail bar focused on great cocktails and exceptional experiences. The venue is designed around the Liberation of Paris in 1944 and brings together an old world charm with modern and delicious food and beverage offerings.

Kittyhawk is centrally located in Sydney’s CBD, and is walking distance to public transport and taxi ranks and other popular Sydney destinations if you want to make a night of it. They cater to people from all walks of life and strive to make everyone feel welcome.

Kittyhawk has a number of function spaces available for hire seven days a week with spaces to suit groups of 1 to 175 (350 across both levels).

The Officer's Mess

The Officers’ Mess is their picturesque, fully-private, 1st level space.

Being a private space, compatible with formalities and entertainment; including TV Screen/Projector, Wireless Microphone, in-house audio or DJs/bands/etc. including use of their sound system & curated playlists.

In cocktail configuration, the space includes full bar service, with a mix of high tables & booth seating. Suitbale for up to 175pax.

In seated banquet configuration, the space includes full bar service and table service during seated banquets. Suitable for up to over 60pax depending on configuration and entertainment, etc.

The Conservatory

The Conservatory is their tiled atrium, suited to semi-private events which do not require any AV equipment, formalities/presentations, or entertainment & decor, etc.

Being a part of their main level "Kittyhawk", The Conservatory includes access to their full drinks menu, including all of their wines, beers, spirits and cocktails - which you may limit or restrict as desired.

The section is flexible on group size, from 20pax to 60pax. Kittyhawk sections off your area based on your group size, so you have a dedicated area for your event.

Groups above 30pax are assigned a private corner of the bar for priority service.

Having this space to yourself is the ultimate treat. Totally private and exquisitely themed, you’ll have access to Kittyhawk’s 12m Main Bar area as well as the Conservatory and the Lounge, which features deep green banquettes, perfect for cosying up in and relaxing.

You’ll just need to decide whether you want to stand and mingle or sit and feast and your work here is pretty much done. You can play your own music and select your own menu and the space will belong exclusively to you and your guests.

Moving between levels is easy as their spaces are connected via an elevator. This option is best suited for events with multiple themes or breakout areas where guests flow between levels and you don’t need everyone in the same space all at once for speeches or presentations, etc. It’s totally up to you what you make of it – just know that it’s allllll yours.
