ABOUT Chat Thai
Authentic Thai Food

Operating for 30 years, Chat Thai is Sydney's Thai food institution. Authentic dishes sourced from Thailand are created from fresh, market ingredients ensuring that each dish is packed full of flavour.

The aim of Chat Thai is simple, to cook food that they themselves crave, served in an environment that is welcoming and pleasurable. Every dish could easily come straight out of a restaurant in the heart of Bangkok as each is inspired from the streets and markets of Thailand.

Chat Thai's menu is vast, ranging from classic spicy curries, to delicious seafood dishes, to a sticky rice with durian for dessert. Be sure to check out the Gaeng Bpu, a yellow curry with crab meat, flavoured with betel leaves. It's sure to be a favourite!

Keep a look out for the supper menu that operates from 10pm to close. It’s full of late-night delights, perfect for a post-drinks feast.

We recently included Chat Thai Haymarket in our article about the best late-night eating spots in Sydney. You can check it out here!
