Want to be part of one of Germany’s most beloved festivals without leaving the state? Returning for its seventh year in a row, Adelaide Showgrounds presents ‘Oktoberfest in the Gardens’.
On Saturday the 7th of October, This festival is coming back even bigger and better than last year. Adelaide is delivering the biggest beer hall that has ever be seen at any previous Oktoberfest event across the country. With the ability to seat 6,000 you have the option to save your feet for the night time and relax in a buzzing atmosphere under the shade.
On arrival you are greeted with a take home event stein and a complimentary can of German beer to get you in the mood and kick off your day. The festival starts at 2 pm, taking you into the night with celebrations lasting until 10 pm.
Oktoberfest in the Gardens has something for everyone, from traditional German performers, authentic food stalls to rides/games and live music across multiple stages. Last year was a sold out event, so go on! Get in costume and become part of one of the biggest German celebrations on offer in Australia.
