The Grace Darling Hotel has hosted a wide range of events which makes them truly adaptable - from sit down dinner parties for 10 to 100 people, cocktail parties, weddings, product launches corporate events and almost every other event imaginable.

Their professional function team can create the tailor the food and beverage package to suit your needs, and work with you and your requirements to bring your next event to life.

 

The Band Room

This space plays home to some of Melbourne’s and Australia’s legendary local music acts.

Bathed in natural light, and equipped with a state of the art PA music system, AV capabilities and raised focal stage, the space spans the entire first floor and provides the perfect platform for corporate presentations, party speeches or even nuptial vows.

Featuring 3 separate entertainment areas, fireplaces, private bar and bathrooms, the floor can be moulded to be both cosy or generously accommodating.

You’re welcome to bring your own band and/or DJ and they can use the available equipment at no extra cost. Alternatively, if you wanted to keep it simple, it is as easy as plugging your own music device in on the night.

Maximum capacity 180 standing or 100 seated.

 

The Cellar Bar

This candle lit and completely private space provides a shadowy and intimate atmosphere suited to any event, whether a sit down dinner with full table service, or standing cocktails and canapes. This space features its own bar and independently fitted sound system so you can play your own music (or have a DJ) and transform this room into your own exclusive wonderland.

Maximum capacity 70 standing or 50 seated.

 

The Atrium

This sunken leafy and glass roofed space can be booked exclusively for your group. It is a semi private area sectioned off from the rest of the venue and the main bar and bathrooms are easily accessible. The perfect area for a sit down dinner or stand up cocktail party.

Maximum capacity 70 standing or 40 seated.

 

The Public Bar

They can reserve an area in the main bar area if you'd like to be amongst the action but require a semi private space.

Maximum group size of 45 standing or 20 seated.

 

The Outdoor Deck

Weather permitting, they are able to reserve sections of the outdoor decking under the shade of trees for your group.
