The Capri Theatre is a proper old school heritage listed cinema that has been lovingly restored to its original 1941 art deco glamour origins.

Located only 10 minutes from the CBD, it’s an ideal venue for movie fundraising events, corporate movie nights and private screenings for up to 750 people. As a cinema with a stage, it’s also perfect for concerts, seminars, awards nights, school productions and even weddings. They can provide a selection of carefully chosen, local caterers, with optional bar use available.

The theatre is a not-for-profit organisation that is run mostly by volunteers, and all profits from your movie tickets and events go directly back in to the restoration of this heritage building and the unique Wurlitzer organ it houses for future generations of South Australians.

Whether you are wanting to host a cocktail evening, or hire the entire auditorium, the history embedded into the walls of Capri Theatre make any event extra special.
