Opening it's doors in Feb 2010. Anthony Kaplan, the man behind North Bondi's The Shop & Wine Bar and Brent Mills from Brooklyn NYC's Sweetwater Tavern have partnered up as the new guard at this historic location, once a stop for the Bondi tram and home to Castile for the past 35 years.

Upstairs you can find a cocktail bar, sprawling balcony and function room. Showcasing salvaged railway timbers, acid-distressed steel floors and recycled industrial furnishings, The Corner House's unique space is as suited to a relaxed meal with mates as it is a pre-dinner cocktail or two.

Re-opened by Ben Siderowitz in July 2017, The Corner House kept his local, homely feeling and added a bit of culture. Now a curator of art shows, live music sessions and workshops; The Corner House is not just a bar restaurant, it's also a cultural space where you can find good people, good food, good wine and art.
