ABOUT Spice Alley
Laneway Restaurants

Kensington Street’s own Spice Alley is a real melting pot of the very best Asian cuisine has to offer, all under the one roof - or in their case, a ceiling of glowing lanterns.

Home to the Kopi-Tiam – six hawker-style diners - Spice Alley is bordered by two small restaurants, isn't just any old Chippendale laneway.

Dine on Singaporean dishes at Alex Lee Kitchen or Thai food at Bang Luck Thai Street Food. Adventure through Malaysian spices at Old Jim Kee’s Malaysian, sample some authentic Cantonese street food from the Hong Kong Diner, dine at the Japanese dining hall KYO-TO or, enjoy some Vietnamese fare from the glass-faced Viet, Spice Alley unites family recipes from across the Asian continent and meanders through the landscape of the very best Asian cuisine.

Spice House is available for private functions & venue hire
