ABOUT Rose of Australia Hotel
Best Sydney Bars

The Rose of Australia is without a doubt the social hub of Erskineville, having perched on its corner spot since 1874. What’s that, like 140 years? It’s little wonder that it is the bustling heart of the neighbourhood.

As one would expect, the clientele and regulars of The Rose are an eclectic bunch - and that’s part of the charm, and the reason it’s a mainstay of the town.

Certainly, the Rose of Australia Hotel has a number of personalities and speeds at which she functions. Within the charming art deco building, there’s the friendly front bar (a prerequisite for any old hotel), the award-winning restaurant, an outdoor courtyard, a cocktail bar upstairs, and a number of function spaces.

As a result, The Rose is able to accommodate - in its easy going, stylish way - everything from after work drinks to date nights, client meetings to raucous birthday parties, cocktail events to product launches - there is no occasion the Rose isn't perfect for.

Rose of Australia Hotel is available for private functions & venue hire
