After two successful years in Rose Bay I Maccheroni restaurant has relocated to the heart of Woollahra.

I Maccheroni has received warm support from locals and positive reviews amongst bloggers and influencers, due to its authenticity and its ability to make patrons feel at home.

Their philosophy is about classic and delectable Italian food using seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Italian-born owner and Head Chef Marcello Farioli, started the business as a catering company (Rustic Kitchen) offering private event catering and cooking classes before launching I Maccheroni, creating the perfect classic Italian eatery by night.

I Maccheroni differentiates itself by producing fresh pasta that is prepared on a daily basis and bread baked in-house.  It is in the small and simple things that lies the delicacy of this little Italian place.

Michelin star trained, Farioli has over 15 years’ experience in Italian cuisine making him an expert when it comes to making and cooking pasta. In Australia, he has long been involved in Sydney’s Italian food scene, being the Chef responsible for setting up 10 William St, collaborating with Vini and working at Otto and Pendolino.

I Maccheroni is fully licensed and open for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday 5.30pm-9.30pm.
