ABOUT Downtown Bar
Hidden Underground Bars

Venue is permanently closed.

This stylish den is located directly underneath The Common’s Local Eating House, and it houses one of Sydney’s most sophisticated bar experiences. With a chic and elegant 1940’s inspired interior, and warm lighting, Downtown Bar is exactly the place you need to check out if you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate the end of the work week or the start of the weekend!

And the best part is that on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Downtown Bar transforms into a jumping and jiving house for live jazz music!

Downtown Bar was also featured on our list of the Hottest Jazz Joints in Sydney, which you can check out here!
