Can you believe it’s already October? The year has flown by, but the good news is that October means Oktoberfest. So if you love putting on your lederhosen and drinking bier with your mates, October is surely your favourite month. Here are all the exciting, upcoming Oktoberfest events near you!

This rustic, 450-seat bierhaus is home to Sydney’s best and most authentic Oktoberfest experience, lasting from Saturday 22nd September to Sunday 28th October. Live oompah music, on-stage challenges and wonderfully wacky performances are part of the restaurant’s exciting fantastic Oktoberfest line-up. Guests can sign up to become an Oktober Boss, proving their dedication to this renowned annual festival by taking five challenges: drinking a stein of each of the five Oktoberfest biers, eating a schnitzel, a pork knuckle and a pretzel, and drinking a schnapps. Those who tick off each challenge will achieve the ultimate Oktober Boss status and receive a limited-edition Oktoberfest t-shirt and an official stein to keep. On top of its activities, Munich Brauhaus offers three specials throughout the Oktoberfest celebrations. There is a 3-course menu ($45pp), a 4-course menu ($60pp) and a shared feast menu ($64pp).
