This morning I handed over five bucks for banana bread, I touched on the tram and it cost me two dollars and when I arrived at work I fired up my premium Spotify account which, you guessed it, I pay for. I preceded to lose myself in a day dream where I didn’t have to pay for my lunch! But fear not, a local Tex-Mex themed restaurant have straightened our troubles by slinging some freebies that’ll cover your lunch, but only for one day!
On Thursday 4th of October on none other than World Taco Day, El Camino Cantina are handing out FREE tacos! Between 12pm and 2pm you get to choose between a delicious cheeseburger and a succulent chicken taco to enjoy, completely free of charge… the only thing you need to say is ‘Gracias’! Diners can continue to get their freebie fix by filling up on El Camino’s complimentary chips and salsa, straight out of a restored 1957 Chevy trunk; mi casa es su casa!
Famous for big margaritas and classic rock n’ roll hits, the venue is flooded with enough neon lights to light up the Las Vegas strip. There is a massive bar and dining room, a dedicated 27 club lounge, and an electric Tex-Mex meets rocker vibe where the tequila and music flow ’til the early hours.
The food menu is unashamedly Tex-Mex think tacos, sizzling fajitas, chili BBQ ribs, quesadillas and macho nachos, perfect for parties and sharing with groups of all sizes. The drinks are dangerous with giant house made Tommy margaritas, local and imported craft beers and over 100 tequilas and mezcals.
