Netflix and chill gets taken to whole new level this silly season with the return of the American Express Openair Cinema from the 29th of November to the 20th of December. AND DID WE MENTION IT’S DOG FRIENDLY.

Featuring brand spankin’ new films, glorious food and drinks in Sydney’s inner west. Located at Cadigal Green in Camperdown, prepare to enjoy live music, DJ’s and massive festival vibes throughout the grounds. There’s even a Crafty Corner to partake in some macrame, knitting and more.

Of course, there will be food by no other than Salt Meats Cheese and their focus on al fresco dining and traditional Italian Cuisine. You can even expect a bit of pizza acrobatics where there will be flying saucers of dough soaring through the air – crazy we know.

Darby's Dog Bakery & Deli - Doughnut & Dog

Grab a picnic blanket and your mates and cosy up to movies like Murder on the Orient Express, Elf, Dirty Dancing, Love Actually, Bad Moms 2 and many more.

Tickets are super reasonable at $20 per person, $17 for concession, free for children under 4 and there’s even group discounts. OF COURSE, you wouldn’t have to pay if you simply entered our giveaway competition here (just sayin’).

If you want to be just that little bit extra, you can purchase a luxury package with food and drinks, and the option of a cheese platter (as if you would pass up cheese). Premium tickets to the Star Lounge include a comfy lounge seat, a glass of wine and service ushering you straight to your seat.

Even better is if you’re an American Express Card holder, whereby you’ll receive 15% off your ticket and complimentary blanket hire. You can also get the full VIP cinema experience by getting access to the American Express Invites Lounge.

St Kilda x American Express Openair Cinema

The program is the perfect lead up into Christmas and therefore, makes an awesome Christmas present for friends and loved ones. There’s the option to purchase a giftcard for this reason alone and provide a bit of cinematic TLC for your faves.

Tickets are literally the same price as if you went to a normal, run-of-the-mill cinema – so why not get a bit quirky, embrace the outdoors, grab your mates and picnic items and head to the American Express Openair Cinemas.

For more information on the program, head to openaircinemas.com.au/sydney-inner-west/calendar.
