Reminiscent of the 1980s classic Miami bar glamour, Flamingo Lounge offers its guests a sophisticated atmosphere while invoking a fun and lively vibe through pink neon lights, plush lounges and Cuban décor. Designed by Josh Clapp from Steel + Stitch (Lobo Plantation, El Topo), the venue comprises of two distinct settings: The Discotheque and The Terrace.
Discotheque is your main club area with the DJ booth, and the adjoining Terrace bar is your more sophisticated cocktail lounge where you can order food and drinks with table service. Fridays and Saturdays differ in music taste and experience so plan accordingly. Flamingo Fridays feature house music inspired by 1980’s classic Miami disco glamour whereas Saturdays are your classic R&B and hip-hop night with a focus on their famous bottle service. Make your next night out super special with Flamingo Lounge’s VIP booth packages, available for both their Discotheque and Terrace setting. With a maximum of 15 people, you’ll be treated to VIP service from a dedicated hostess and can indulge in the best bottle service Sydney has to offer. While you’re there you should definitely treat yourself to one of their decadent cocktails. Live it up like Queen B with Becky With The Good Hair, a pleasant mix of coconut, lemon, pineapple, mint and vodka, or be delighted by the Sweethearts Martini, an elaborate concoction of cherry juice, elderflower, lychee juice, sugar, dry vermouth and vodka.
Don’t feel like you need to end your night early because you’re hungry for a sneaky Maccas run because Flamingo Lounge supplies delicious pizzas until late into the night, served by Bondi institution Society’s Pizzeria. Take a break from all the dancing and indulge in some authentic and delicious pizza.
Flamingo Lounge have some killer events lined up that are surely not to be missed. They’re about to launch their Sunday Sessions for 2019 on the 24th March, running until the end of April. Kicking off each Sunday at 2pm, expect $10 pizzas, chill tropical house and Ibiza classics by DJ Dante Riveria, cheap drinks deals from 2-4pm and free entry before 3pm!

There is no better area than Flamingo’s Lounge Function space when it comes to hosting the perfect intimate event. Celebrities and the like enjoy the setting of this intimate space, with exclusive access to the bar and balcony, plus your own VIP hostess’ to ensure your every need is met.
The canape choices for the functions are superb; the best way to describe them is to think about your favourite finger food but add a sophisticated twist, such as mini Italian meatball sliders, porcini and truffle arancini and crab and asparagus croquettes. You can also have Society serve up their pizza if that’s more your jam. The team at Flamingo Lounge will have everything covered so you won’t have to worry about a single thing except partying it up at your fabulous event.
