We all appreciate a good feed every once in a while, so how about a month of it? Good Food Month have collaborated with some of the best chefs and culinary masterminds within Sydney to produce Hyde Park Palms – a custom built pop up in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

From the 5th of October, right through to till 29th , find yourself indulging in all types of cuisines in a series of special events and dining experiences put together for your enjoyment.

Whether you’re after a burger and beer whilst watching the sun go down, or you really want spoil your senses with a 3-course dinner with beverages to match, Good Food Month has everything you need for a filling evening of fun and food!

Pilu At Freshwater

Pilu at Freshwater is designed and conducted around the philosophy “Food, and the hospitality associated with sharing it, is integral to the Sardinian way of Life.” Giovanni ensures that every customer who walks through the door is welcomed as if they are an old friend, and their dining experience reflect this by providing guests the best of the best.

Pilu prides itself on knowledgeable and vigilant staff that deliver the true Sardinian experience, complimented by food which will blow patrons minds as well as fantastic wines to match. At Pilu at Freshwater, you will find a menu packed with carefully selected local ingredients, all put together to create contemporary, modern Italian dishes to ignite your taste-buds.

On Wednesday 11th October, Pilu is running a one off event “Regions of Italy” where you can experience one of the finest nights in dining; wallow in a 3 course meal, wine to compliment and an evening full of Sardinia delight.

Located downtown amongst some of the finest Asian cuisines you will come across within the CBD, Eastside hosts an American/Japanese influenced menu that, surprise surprise, comes from the grill. With every dish using only the best meats and seafood you can find, this menu is not for the faint-hearted (or vegetarians, sorry!)

Be prepared to leave fully satisfied and full for days with Chef Stanley Wong’s incredible concoctions and flavour combinations.

On Saturday the 21st of October, Eastside Grill are hosting a 1 hour master class on the perfect steak – teaching you the basics of how to choose it, how to cut it and most importantly, how to cook it! Following the masterclass, Sommelier Ivan Gasparini will take you on a wine adventure, introducing you to a selection of his favourite Shiraz’. This “Steak and Shiraz Masterclass” is the perfect opportunity to explore different regions, unique wine making techniques, and of course, how to match wine with your perfect steak.

Hyde Park are hosting night noodle markets throughout the month of October, where some of the finest Asian cuisines have collaborated together to create a fabulous food truck environment.

Alongside this, cure the Saturday night feels with the Brunch Series where a bunch of culinary geniuses have collaborated to bring us the breakfast of champions. Or work off the weekend calories with Not Another Manic Mondays 60 minute workout session, coincided with a guilt free takeaway breakfast to help with the Monday blues.
