Spectacular sunsets, eclectic tapas and a healthy mix of signature and classic cocktails are what you can expect from The Eagles Nest in Brisbane.
Conveniently located nearby Brisbane River, the 12th floor of The Point Brisbane Hotel is home to the city’s most stylish rooftop event and function venue. If the City Botanic Gardens or iconic Story Bridge weren’t reason enough to explore the surrounds of Kangaroo Point, Eagles Nest is sure to have you hooked.
Boasting sensational views of the city skyline, Eagles Nest’s contemporary white décor acts as a blank canvas for whatever event space you’d like it to be. Whether it’s a private corporate event or a celebration with family and friends, Eagles Nest is a flexible space that can cater for 50 delegates in a variety of meeting styles or up to 120 guests in a cocktail setting.
The catering menu is loaded with options, including but not limited to an array of enticing meal packages, set menus and platters. After dark, rooftop string lanterns and neon trees transform Eagles Nest from fresh, summer balcony to a chic, dusky setting making this event space highly versatile.
When it comes to bar food options, the chefs at Eagles Nest have devised a special Tapas menu where there is something for everyone. Drawing mostly on Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours the menu includes life’s simple pleasures in the form of truffled fries and manchego cheese croquettes. For those seeking some spice, the menu has some Asian influence with salmon gyoza, panko coconut prawns or pulled pork belly rolls that’ll have you drooling. Not to mention vegetarians, vegans and those who require gluten/dairy free options are all looked after.
With an adjoining riverside balcony that opens from 3pm on Friday and Sunday afternoons, Eagles Nest offers a stylish open-air space that’s great for after work/pre-dinner drinks and appetisers. There’s also live tunes on the rooftop offering the perfect excuse to kick back, relax and take in the sun set while sipping on one of their unique cocktails.
Expect to see concoctions such as their ‘Turkish Delight’ inspired by the Arabic delicacy, or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous try the ‘Enchanted Unicorn’ which features watermelon candy infused vodka and a little ‘magic for garnish’. Although Eagles Nest specialises in these signature cocktails they of course offer up all the classics including the rooftop must – Aperol Spritz. With 15+ cocktails and an extensive wine, beer and cider menu you certainly won’t be left thirsty.
With less than 10 minutes to walk from either the Dockside or Thornton Street Ferry terminal, reaching The Point Brisbane Hotel is as simple as it gets. So whether it’s casual afternoon drinks, a birthday or a large-scale corporate event, the dedicated team at Eagles Nest have you covered.
