At the Botanical Gardens end of Edward Street hides The Silver Fox Wine Bar, elegant, chic and oh so charming. This intimate neighbourhood bar not only has floor to ceiling wine from around the world, but a delectably stocked whiskey and gin supply and all the goodies to make your favourite cocktail.  The on-site sommelier will happily help you choose the best drop, because what he doesn’t know about wine, isn’t worth knowing.    Fancy something to complement your drink?  They also have a range of cheeses, olives and dips to please your palate.

Many stop by for an after work tipple, pre or post dinner drinks, and others just never want to leave.  Slide into one of the comfortable chesterfields or curl up in an armchair and forget that you’re in the CBD and let your only worry be deciding which drink to order next.  The playlist is a mix of chilled lounge, jazz, and old school vibes, but they are always happy to take your requests.
