Fortitude Valley’s King Street is more than just a thoroughfare, it is home to Brisbane’s latest food scene and The George Bar and Bistro is located front and centre. Owned and operated by former Wallaby George Gregan and the Gregan Group, this new hot-spot is the younger sibling to The George Bar and Bistro and GG Espresso on Eagle Street.

The King Street location, set in a garden environment with outdoor seating aplenty, has been created with a more relaxed vibe in mind, with alfresco, cafe-style dining coupled with The George’s top-notch service and flair.

Open for breakfast, lunch and post work drinks, The George serves up a concise selection of beers, wines by the glass, spirits and classic cocktail favourites including the infamous espresso martini. A bar menu is also available to accompany your drink of choice - you cannot go past the truffle parmesan chips!
