ABOUT Rubyos
Best Tapas Restaurants

Rubyos is Newtown’s best place to celebrate, featuring an eclectic grazing menu, designed to be shared around the table.  We offer the ultimate grazing experience – modern Australian cuisine with a “fusion” mix of international flavours – to be shared in true tapas style!

Located in the heart of Newtown and in close proximity to Sydney CBD, Rubyos brings a touch of style to the bustling King Street strip. With its heritage charm and relaxing contemporary interior, Rubyos is the perfect place to celebrate anything.

The Grazing Menu is made up of a series of tasting dishes, designed to be shared from the centre of the table in true tapas style and unlike many restaurants, Rubyos is more than willing to alter the menu to suit the needs of many dietary requirements, offering Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten free and dairy free meals. The Dessert Menu is extensive and, even if you've stuffed yourself on the share plates, there is always room for a treat to end the meal.

Rubyos is fully licensed and BYO (bottled wine only); they offer an affordable range of interesting local and international wines to choose from, as well as a wide selection of beers, spirits and a great cocktail list!

Sharing is caring and is encouraged at Rubyos, so get a group together and relish in a memorable dining experience that is worth its weight in gold.

Rubyos is available for private functions & venue hire
