On the former site of the iconic Basement, Mary’s Underground brings live music right back into the middle of Circular Quay, with a program that sees a mixture of resident acts and weekly parties married with one-off events and drop ins from touring interstate and international artists.

The restaurant has built a menu on a strong palate, solid execution and imaginative twists on the classics. The food is a celebration and made to share, the perfect indulgence for groups. Mary's Underground takes the classic techniques of Europe and matches them with seasonal Australian produce to create an indulgent Euro-Australian experience.

Mary’s Underground has an extensive eight page wine list, with over 250 wines by the bottle and over 25 wines by the glass. Carefully curated by Wine Director Caitlyn Rees, all the wines are farmed organically or bio-dynamically and are all delicious. They won't have one without the other. The list bridges the gap between classic and natural wine drinkers, honouring irreplaceable regions like Champagne while showcasing emerging local and international producers.
