The Charlestons is found in the atmospheric inner west suburb of Glebe, just 5 minutes from Sydney's CBD.
This 60 seat bar and restaurant draws inspiration from coastal South Carolina city of the same name. Features include beautiful pastel colours, a retractable roof to let in the gentle breeze, and an open kitchen. The design was the handy work of award winning local inner west designer Matt Woods.
The menu, curated by Glebe local Jackson Jones includes signature dishes such as The Lobster Roll - 160g of lobster, apple fennel slaw, riddichio, pickled cucumber, grain mustard, as well as a 450g BBQ beef Short Rib, served with southern spice on the bone with steamed greens and the Lobster roll, 160g of lobster, apple fennel slaw, riddichio, pickled cucumber, grain mustard.
Local hospitality professional and cocktail lover, Iain Guthrie manages the bar, where there are a plethora of new and classic cocktails to try.
The Charleston is the perfect place for a relaxed after work drink with friends or to celebrate that next milestone. Open Tues and Wed from 5pm-late and Thurs-Sun from 12-late.
