The brainchild of Leo Castelluccio, who opened Melbourne venues Graffiti Club, Cato and Bakers Gallery, El Matador is set to electrify the atmosphere and bring an authentic Spanish flair to the bustling Burnett Lane precinct.

Guests will be able to see the chefs creating their delicious tapas with its open kitchen, and with authentic Spanish features such as a humidifier with tasty cured meats and a Pira oven direct from Barcelona, you could easily forget you are in Brisbane’s CBD.

There is a lavish array of tapas and pintxos to please the appetites of lovers of these Spanish delicacies, ranging from the delicious Sunshine Coast Padrón peppers with burnt cauliflower, cumin, and olive oil to the savoury three-cheese tarts with baby figs and honey to croquetas de jamon with confit chicken and mojo picon.
