Dining at The Market Hotel is a relaxed and sociable, with classic pub grub made with fresh, local ingredients and a lot of love from a brilliant team of chefs. With bar snacks, beer food and cheap lunch specials aplenty, plus a burger night on Thursday and $1 wings every Sunday, the menu caters to every need. From vegan dishes to a Butcher’s Cut steak, and a craft beer selection to wash it all down, dining at The Market is easy and enjoyable for all, with simple bar service in one of Melbourne’s oldest pubs.
On the ground floor and behind a stunning garden wall, a selection of restaurant booths are perfect for medium sized groups (22) who wish to dine in a casual capacity, with easy access to the bar. You can book an individual table or the whole restaurant, order at the main bar and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of The Market Hotel.
For more formal bookings, the private dining room on level 1 can be set for set menu dinners, or a la carte bookings who prefer to order on arrival. Preorders are welcome to speed up service, ideal for corporate groups in a hurry. The rooftop beer garden is also open to public, with 24 seats across high bar tables, and large beer hall tables available if requested in advance (40 seats total). You can order downstairs in the public bar and escape to the alfresco comfort of the rooftop to enjoy your meal and a few beers in the Summer months. Bar service can be arranged for private events.
